■Overview

The current global atmosphere faces problems that are directly related to our lives, such as global warming and air pollution. The solution requires an accurate understanding of the actual situation of the atmosphere. These issues range from the local scale to the global scale, thus global observation with satellite remote sensing plays an essential role. This committee contributes to solving these social issues by further understanding the atmosphere using existing satellite observation data and proposing new atmospheric observation satellite projects.

  • Application for open call for earth observing satellite missions (3rd trial) by the Task Force Meeting on future space developments of the Remote Sensing Subcommittee.
